My go to since moving to the area three years ago. Superb staff and locally sourced meat. Highly recommended.
Absolutely love this place. The staff are so friendly, the meat is of very high quality and reasonably priced.
Really amazing steak recommended to me by the butcher here. A rump cut close to the sirloin. Super flavourful, juicy and tender. Not bloody at all, just juicy. Definitely getting my steak here from now on

Ordered a meat hamper for Xmas. And was fully satisfied with price freshness and quality of products from Watson's butchers. Highly recommend and will definitely return in the new year. Thankyou
Absolutely amazing food and selection. Prices are very competitive. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Go there most Saturday's. 5 out of 5
Fantastic selection I bought best black pudding I have had since George Staffords I used to buy. years ago. Went back for my Christmas meat, Cockerell , venison and steaks all good. Well worth a visit.
Dropped on watsons a few weeks back as I was looking for , heart, lungs etc for my dog , while I was there I thought I'd buy some other bits...glad I did , the sausages are divine 😋, just had a sausage roll, beautiful, i have other bits later to try and im sure they will be beautiful. Sam also minces all the bits for my dogs food....super friendly and superb produce....😍😊

Glad you’re liking everything we do Bev… we always aim for satisfaction 👍🏻 Thank you for the 5 star review
Had a bbq pack, absolutely fantastic and flavoursome.. Loved the kebabs! Steak was fantastic, so tender and melts in your mouth. Also brought all my meats for Christmas there and really noticed the difference in quality and it was beautifully presented.
My wife loves lamb and hates fat which is not a great combination. Ordered a cannon of lamb from here ( google it ) and just ccoked it today with her response being it is the best piece of meat she has ever eaten . Beautifully prepared and though not cheap it was worth every penny. Thank you

High quality meats and local produce including home baked goods and ready cooked meals all to a very high standard . The butcher is a traditional style butcher ready to serve you with your purchase of your cut of meat to order at counter , trimmed and prepared to your requirements , bacon and sausage of the very best quality as STD here , prices are reasonable and affordable for the quality of produce . The premises are cleaned to a very high standard and all covid measures are in place at this time . Always a pleasure to visit with polite and friendly informative staff who take a pride in product and customer service. The meat products are all very fresh and well presented to tempt the serious carnivore . A good traditional style butcher of the highest quality on the doorstep , HIGHLY RECOMMEND BY LOCALS AND PEOPLE WHO TRAVEL TO VISIT LIKE MYSELF . I HOPE THEY CONTINUE TO DO WELL . I myself recently have been eating the Spanish sausage they produce here and it really has some serious flavour even one or two cooked and sliced and mixed in with some lighty oiled pasta is enough to impress the most serious of foodies , even better with a glass of Californian merlot !!! Why not give them a try I am sure you will not be disappointed . Please might I suggest that if you are considering a bulk order that you telephone in first and leave contact details for pick up to reduce waiting times and also to check availability of products especially at the weekend as things get busy on Saturday's.Excellent service. Quality products.
We go to Watsons family butchers at least once a month excellent meat fantastic friendly service absolutely 100% best Tasting meat always tender . True value for you money 👍🏻
Called in today to purchase some lamb, sausages and steak burgers, very well presented and a good range of products to suit your needs. Will be calling again soon.
Fantastic butcher. So helpful and the quality of his goods is 2nd to none. We travel to get our black pudding from him, well worth the trip.
Lucky to have them as my neighbour, super friendly team and the meat is amazing. The streaky bacon is delicious!
